2022-01 Fee Schedule Resolution

TEMPORARY WASTE / RECYCLING CENTER PROCEDURES: In the interest of keeping you, your neighbor and the Attendant safe; the Waste/Recycling Center Attendant will be monitoring the number of persons depositing trash at one time. We strongly encourage Town residents to purchase a Town of Medina Trash Punch Card. The cost of the card is currently $30.00. You can purchase your card from the Attendant or at the Town Hall.

DUE TO AN INCREASE IN THE FEES FOR ELECTRONIC RECYCLING THE TOWN OF MEDINA WILL NOT BE SUPPLYING ELECTRONIC RECYCLING FOR 2020.

DROP OFF RECYCLING SITE

The drop-off site is open to all Medina Residents

You are to use the drop-off site only at designated hours

Saturdays: 8:00-3:00 pm

Wednesdays: 4:00-6:00 pm March-November — No Wednesday hours December, January, February

There is a $200.00 fine for illegal dumping at the site during non-business hours or along roadsides.

There is no charge for anything that is recycled. There is a charge of $1.00 per small bag of garbage and $2.00 for a 30gal. garbage bag. Larger items as determined by the Waste / Recycling attendant.

The attendant will answer any question you have at the site, or you may also contact the Town Clerk

Commingle recycling dumpster items to be recycled:

Brown Paper Bags, Flat Cardboard, Magazines, Paperboard, Phone Books, Newspaper, Junk Mail, Office Paper

Aluminum cans, Tin Cans, Glass Bottles and Jars, Plastic Bottles

NOT RECYCLABLE:

Pizza Boxes, Empty oil containers are not to go in the recycling dumpsters.

METAL RECYCLING

The Yellow Dumpster at the Town Site is available for recycling of scrap metal, this includes appliances. If placing an item in this dumpster any door or lid should be removed for safety reasons. items can only be deposited during hours of operations. Items should not be removed from this dumpster unless authorized by the attendant.
