State law requires that all dogs in the Township be licensed annually by April 1st. Contact the Town Treasurer, Leaota Braithewaite, at 608-655-3700 to obtain a license. Failure to license your pet will result in a fine of $20.00 per dog per month. If your dog is picked up for running at large you will also have to pay a boarding fee charge. A fine may also occur from Dane County at $110.00 or more per animal plus court fees. For the safety of your pet and to save yourself money, please license at the local level.
